This is an original game hosted by a friend of mine and co-hosted by....yours truly.
Welcome all to a brand new and intense gaming experience brought to you by the man that created the wildly successful and entertaining* TIB game RW/RR challenge: The Gauntlet and firmly believes that hyperbole is THE GREATEST THING EVER and the woman that has hosted multiple insanely successful offsite games and firmly believes that Texas is a city.
Superiority is a game invented by myself that pits 17 players against each other in a season long battle to become and stay one of the Superiors. The Superiors will always be in the majority and have the weekly power to eliminate one player in the minority or one of the Inferiors.
Each week all of the players will compete in two challenges in order to secure points that will determine who is a Superior and who is an Inferior. The Superiors will always be in the majority and as the numbers in the game dwindle down so will the number of Superiors, so what makes you a Superior in week 1 will not necessarily secure your spot in week 7.
The first challenge, known as the Upper Hand Challenge, will almost always be a live speed round challenge similar in style to The Amazing Race where the time it takes you to complete the challenge will determine the number of points you receive for that challenge. But if you think that the points you win in this challenge are safe and secure for the round, you may want to think again.
Immunity, also known as your Ace in the Hole will be available during the Upper Hand Challenge, but the decision will be in your hands whether you want to sacrifice precious time and potentially points to secure your own safety for the week.
The second challenge of the round is known as the Cutthroat Challenge which will be generally non-live and give the top competitors each challenge the ability to steal away some of the hard earned points from people that have diligently earned them during the Upper Hand Challenge... aww, so sad. So if you want to hold on to your points, you're going to need to step up and perform.
Your points will carry over from round to round meaning that players will be rewarded for consistency and longevity of success and not what necessarily happens on a week to week basis.
Along with a few twists and turns along the way, Superiority is definitely a game i would love to play if i weren't in fact hosting, which is the highest seal of approval i can potentially give it. The game has pre-planned and our goal is to have the game completely ready to go shortly after the finale of Endurance.
So if you have what it takes to bite, scratch, and claw your way to the top of the Leaderboard or the social prowess to keep the Superiors from eliminating you on a week to week basis, then apply for the first season of Superiority, you will not be disappointed.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to respond to this thread or IM me on AIM at cknepley
