ANJA You can see ALMOST all of my face here lol. Here is Anja, On her Wedding day. "You May Kiss The Bride". Cruise: Anja first off I think this is a beautifully captured photograph of you and your husband. It certainly looks like happily-ever-after from what I do see however we see more of your groom then we do of you. The side profile of you is elegant but we don't see much more then your nose and mouth. We love eyeballs. Well I do. I love eyeballs. All in all I think it's a beautiful shot. The only serious critique I will give you is that you could have cropped away the perfume part. It was unnecessary and cluttered up your shot. Remember to crop things if you move further in the competition. Little things like that could be the breaking point on if you stay or go. Either way not too bad here. It's an elegant shot. Isabeli: Anja, this certainly is a wedding photo. It definitely looks as though your "I Do's" will last. Always with two models in a photo, it's hard to focus on just one unless they really steal the shot. Here, though I do think you're equal, except for the fact that I can't really see your whole face. I also agree with the fact that since it is an advertisement, it would have been more effective, had it been cropped. It would have given the photo a different ambiance. It is still a pretty photo. Doutzen: This is very beautiful Anja. This is what I was expecting for this challenge and I love it. I am such a sap and this is so romantic and soft. I wish you had cropped out the bottle of perfume, but other than that.. this is lovely. Claudia: This is absolutely beautiful. Your hubby is cute...but you still steal the focus for me. You are a very lovely bride. Great job.

CAROLINEwow what can i say! this was a hard shoot caroline dosnt have many pics to choose from:P but i managed to pull through!
well here i am in my loveley dress getting ready nervously for my wedding i cant believe im getting married, time has flown by! i love the intensity in the eyes Cruise: Caroline, the dress is just 'ho hum' to me. It looks more like a kind of evening gown but still formal on the bottom half of the dress, less formal on the top half. It's not bad but I'm just having a hard time picking up the vibe here and your face is totally blurry. I know you struggled with this one, and that's unfortunate, however, you were able to find something close although I don't know if it will be close enough. Isabeli: Caroline, I'm sure this dress is dressy, but I can't say I'm liking it too much. The bottom half looks too gathered with too much material, making it look kind of messy, and even the shoes (from what I can see) don't add to the dressiness of the gown. I know that "unconventional" is good, but being that the photo is also black and white, it lacks that "pop" factor. Sorry! I do like the pose though. It is confident. Doutzen: B/w was not the way to go with this challenge darling. I want to see all the little details in your dress and the lack of color prevents me from doing that and I agree this is a bit on the boring , bland side. Claudia: I have to echo my fellow judges. I dont think b/w helped you here, its just kind of there...there is no wow...sorry.

JULIA Here I am posing in my wedding dress. My fiance and I planned to have our wedding photos taken before we actually tied the knot, both together and separately. Here I am standing before the photographer posing for my photo. I think it will look good on our mantle. We decided to go for a themed "White and Black" wedding, so with my traditional white dress, I've added some adornments of black to accent. Cruise: This is another example where two colors are working and this is actually working in a good way. I can picture all the bridesmaids wearing mostly black with white accents. The train is what develops this gown into a wedding gown style and I think you look beautiful. Isabeli: Julia, I think this dress is stunning. It accentuates your shape, and I love the black accessories. It really makes the dress. The fact that it has a train, yet it is still simple and not gaudy adds to the beauty of it. And, I must say, that you look lovely as well. It looks very Hollywood glam. I also notice the ruffles on the back of the top half of the dress and it's a really nice detail. Very nice job! Doutzen: You just never fail to impress me. This is very fresh, fashionable but with a hint of traditional.. I love this and its so crisp and clear.. Great job. Claudia: Im not in love with this...the dress is nice..but I dont like the black on it, its distracting...and for some reason, the way you are posed, your head looks funny...like it doesnt fit on your body.

LILYIt may not be your average wedding dress, but Lily isn't your average bride.
Cruise: This isn't bad Lily, I can appreciate trying to be unique and different. I did say that if you choose to go on a two-tone dress, where it is not completely solid in color to make sure that the accent color is not very noticeable. This accent color is very noticeable. HOWEVER... I like the dress and what brings me back around to finding it more acceptable as a wedding gown is the train in the back. It's beautiful, and elegant. Now you, as a person in this shot and the bride? Well the picture is a tad blurry, and I wouldn't want this framed on my mantle. Instead I would be taking it back to the photographer crying saying: "special" day captured on film and look at this picture? " LOL. That is what I would say. Isabeli: This can fit the "unconventional" look. It is visibly two colors, and it's hard to say which color outshines the other. The fact that it is backless makes it look interestingly different, but I'm wondering where your hands are, also. The head piece is nicely matched though with your dress. It works somewhat. Doutzen:I think its a amazing dress and I love the colors. it seems a bit on the bridesmaid side of dresses.. But overall other than quality, I like this. Claudia: Im not loving this either....it does look more bridesmaid...and we all know that most bridesmaid dresses are yucky. I wouldnt be friends with anyone if they asked me to wear that dress or the thing on your head.

LISACruise: This looks very bridesmaid to me. However I could see a non-church wedding having this kind of feel to it, for perhaps an old lady who has been around the block a few times. You know, one of those "marrying" types of women who like to marry lots of different men in a course of lifetime. However, we know that is not how our little Lisa is... she's in it for the long haul, or so we hope. Lisa, the dress looks to bridesmaid for my liking. I think it's the off the shoulder look. I love you pose though and your up-do hair is amazing for a wedding shot. Isabeli: Lisa, this is a nice dress. It's definitely formal wear, but I don't totally get a wedding dress feeling from it. I like the pose. It's fashionable, but I think at your wedding, your dress should outshine everybody else's, and I'm not sure that it would. You do look lovely, though. Doutzen: You look way to uncomfortable, I think the quality is off and I dont know I am not loving the entire look. I think its harsh and lacking the softness factor that should be in a wedding assemble. Claudia: I wouldnt think this shoot would be so difficult..but, I dont like this either. Your dress, pose, expression, I just dont love any of it. Sorry.

LONNEKE I went with a casual powder blue dress for my beach wedding to my beloved. Cruise: You probably know what I'm going to say Lonneke. So don't you roll your eyes at me. Now I will say the good things first. I can picture a beach side wedding. I've seen them in those gossip magazines and have been to a few in my lifetime as well. It's a very Hollywood thing to do. An attempt to escape. Well you can't escape. This is marriage and eventually you need to come back and face your life. But yes, a beach side wedding is very practical. Now you rolling around in the sand with your groom? Well it's very Pamela Anderson and someone else did this? Ohhh, Anna Nicole when she got married to her attorney. But most people don't roll around the sand. Regardless, this is about you and your wedding dress and I cannot see it. You're outfit is hidden about 75% by your groom and I want to see that outfit! From what I can see it's beautiful. I just would have liked to see more of it and less of him. Isabeli: Lonneke, I definitely love the color of the dress and the idea of a beach wedding. The slight problem is that I'm not really seeing the dress as a whole in order to be able to judge it properly. It seems to look like a shiny, satiny material, but I'm not totally certain. A lot of it is covered by your future hubby and the fact that you are lying down. But, what I do see of it, I think is very nice. I could definitely see a beach wedding. Doutzen: I feel like I am gonna be the odd ball. But this seems way to causal for me. Its a nice picture but I also cant see the dress very well. I am split on this. Claudia: Maybe Im the oddball out...I love this. I love the colors and the fact that it could be a wedding dress. You look beautiful and this fits the theme to me more than most.

LOUISE The picture quality looks poor but it's not really..if you look at her feet and lower legs it is clear so the top part looks off quality because of the light shining in the glass. Louise has her dress on and her flowers in her hair taking a moment for herself before she steps out to walk to her groom.Isabeli: Louise, I'm split on this dress. I think that the sun shining in the glass makes it hard to see you and it makes the photo look a bit washed out. Also, the flowers in your hair cover one eye. The dress does look sweet, even though not too much of a wedding-y feel. Cruise: I'm very frustrated about this Louise. This is late and very late at that. I can not hold up the game and wait for my other two judges to now come back and critique and re-rank all over again since I know that one judges is off to work early this morning and won't be back until much later. Also it's really not fair to those that did submit already and are anxiously waiting for results... we don't want to keep them waiting any longer then we absolutely have to. Anyway, this doesn't have the wedding vibe to it that I was hoping to see. The sheerness of the skirt portion, the button up collared top. The only thing that gives off a wedding feel is the the thing in your hair.
