Adriana...I have decided to go with The Jamaican Culture. I think the picture speaks for itself but in the background there is fruit like pineapples which gives it the Jamaican feel, also the ocean and the sand. Not to mention the flowers around her neck (ugh cant think of what it is called). Buffy: It's called a lei - and it's Hawaiian. I don't know what to think of this Adriana. I was hoping you wouldn't pick this. It's not great quality and the fact that she's got her mouth open to eat chips....not the best. I do see a cultural change here, so good job on that. I'm just not very impressed by this. Sorry Tommy: I like it. I dont' know if it's my favorite or not, but I like it. I love how you look like you're having fun. I don't like the sunglasses though. I'm not a fan of the big huge square glasses and they make your cheeks look odd. But otherwise, I like the picture. Buffy: I also think you look like a tourist, and not a local, which kind of defeats the theme...and Hawaii is part of the US. I guess it could be French Polynesia and then it would be another country, though, lol. Raquel: Oh I'm dissapointed to see you picked this one, I saw a lot that were amazing in your rough drafts. I just don't like this one... I don't feel the theme much either, I agree with Tommy that your cheeks look odd. Holly: I dont hate it, but I agree with the other judges...not much of a culture shock. This is just okay for me.

Gisele...India - snake charmer (this comp was a hard one for me lol)Buffy: I love this, Gisele! I've seen it before, but I'm not holding that against you. This is perfect for this challenge. I totally see India and I'm glad you added Snake Charmer. Great job! Tommy: I've seen it before as well, and I wouldn't hold that against you as it's one of my all time favorite pictures of you............but I dont' see India or snake charmer at all I'm sorry, for hotness you get an A++ for following the theme you get a D- Buffy: I guess I get your point about not looking like India - kind of reminds me of Medusa, though. At any rate, I think it definitely has an exotic look and it is definitely an awesome pic! Raquel: This picture is amazing, you look hot and the look on your face and the swaying of your body just wow's me, I had never seen this picture before but I love it! Good job Gisele!!! Holly: Aww...I was so hoping you wouldnt choose this one. Im not crazy about it...my first thoughts when I saw it were Medusa too

Natasha...This round was very hard for me, so i decide to go with the safest option. In this picture I'm saying welcome to Russia, my favorite country.Buffy: Natasha, this definitely says Russia to me. I find you a little boring in it....I keep looking at the architecture behind you. But, I know this was a hard challenge, so I think you did a good job. Tommy: I'm with Buffy on that it's sort of boring. But I like it. I totally see Russian in this picture, not just with the hat, but the background, and the look on your face as well. Raquel: I agree, you are boring in this picture I also feel that the background overshadows you which is never good, I'm really dissapointed by this picture the look on your face is not even good. Sorry Natasha. Holly: I do see Russia, so good job on that...but I agree, this is just okay at best.

Julia...Italian
I had a load of trouble this one, and my options were limited for this challege. In the end, I decided to go with this one. The backdrop looks very much like Italy. And the way she's dressed reminds me very much of of a Mafia wife or something. It's very "Growing Up Gotti."Buffy: Julia, I can definitely see Mafia wife in this. It definitely looks like Italy. This is a great example where an example can make or break your submission. I like it. Good job! Tommy: The first time I saw this I didn't get Italian because the guys look jewish, the one guy reminds me of the Jewish guy from Grease 2 lol BUT, when I look at you I see Italian. The outfit, the hair, the face. So this might be my favorite so far Raquel: I have to say at first I didn't like this picture at all, but now looking at it more carefully its not as bad as I thought, you definitivelly fit the theme and are the center of the picture so thats great. I'm not liking it much though Holly: I dont really see the culture shock here...maybe more of a mafia wife from New York I dont like it, sorry. Buffy: Holly, sweetheart, that's not New York - that's Venice.

Tiiu...I'm sorry the quality isnt' the best but it was the best shot as far as looking the most like another culture.. We have a native american girl dressed for her rite of passage to becoming a princess...the women in the family sewed each bead and jewel on by hand to prepare for this special ceremony. Buffy: Tiiu, there were some others in your roughs that I LOVED, so seeing this is a bit disappointing for me.....BUT I still think this is good. I love your story. It really makes me "feel this" more. Good job! Tommy: At first glance I really don't like it, but the story makes me feel it more. I see more Hindu Princess more than Native American but I don't mind this at all. Raquel: I agree with Buffy the story helps this picture a lot, makes it more real. I'm not a huge fan of the way your face looks since you seem slightly bored but I think you fitted the theme and did good generally. Holly: Tiiu, Im not necessarily in love with the pic..but as far as following the theme stand point...you nailed it. Great job.

Maggie...GREETINGS FROM RUSSIA..............................
I on a long winters day in Russia decide to go out on the town to explore to see what it has to offer me i put a little blue under my eyelid as u can see because it is cutom in russia to do so .......It is what the ladies have to do to let the men know in town that i am available to be a slave for whatevr they want done..........Be it have there baby, chores around thehouse etc.Buffy: The first thing I notice is that you didn't follow directions and tell us which country you are representing with this. I could make some guesses....and I think I can see another culture in this. Overall, not my favorite. Tommy: Hmmmmmmm I dont' know what to say. I can't take a guess on what culture this represents at all. At first glance I thought the hat was a different hat but then I noticed it's not, so I'm lost again lol Raquel: I agree with Tommy and Buffy, its hard to tell what country you are from and you also don't look too good on this, not feeling it AT ALL. Holly: Maggie, Im also at a loss for words here. I cant even take a guess of what country and as Raquel said, you dont look very good. Sorry, this really falls flat for me. Buffy: Apparently there was an explanation, I just didn't scroll down enough. Doesn't change my critique though, I don't see Russia. Sorry.

Catrinel...[shadow=Purple,left,300][glow=maroon,5,000] RUSSIAN[/glow][/shadow] [shadow=purple,left,300][glow=maroon,2,300]The hat reminds me of a Russian fur hat, the belt looks familiar too! I hope I got it right! [/glow][/shadow][/size] Buffy: Cat, I think this definitely has the Russian look. Again, I know this challenge was tough, and though this isn't my favorite, I think you did meet the challenge. I do like her face in this one, too. Good job. Tommy: I totally see Russian in this. I think you still look sexy and the pose is good. Not my favorite, but I do like it. Raquel: Cat I think you captured the russian essence in this photo, I'm loving it, your face and your make up and even the pose are great. Good job girl! Holly: I can see the Russian, so thats good also, you look great. Good job.
