Welcome ladies to your fifth photo shoot. This week, The Brunette's had a choice between two themes and the Brunette's chose:
DIRECTIONS for Props:
You must use a picture of yourself with a prop, it's that simple but there is a twist. You can not use any kind of fashion accessory. Which means NO:
Make- Up Containers
Purses
Shoes
Sunglasses
Hat's
Jewelry
A living creature is not a prop, it's considered an "extra".
We are looking for props like, Brooms, Books, Light Poles, Cars, Stuffed Animals would even work. Just make sure you don't get lost in the photo ladies...
You will be judged on how well you work with your prop, and how you look of course. Think of ANTM when they were working with the bull whip in Spain, or the Gladiator sword (where were they then? Italy).
No black and white shots, no runways, and no candids!
This means that your theme for this shoot is:
DIRECTIONS for Plain:
It must be a PLAIN background. No props, no back drops with anything. You can however use any color background you want. The plain backgrounds in my examples are the only permissible use of words (notice that they are hardly noticeable). I don't want to see this big block writing across the top, OR bottom, OR side, of your picture that says COVER GIRL or CHANEL. Hopefully that makes sense. Shadowing from you body will be allowed since we can't prevent shadows.
NO: Black and White
NO: Runway
NO: Candids
With a plain background you want to be FIERCE. You really need to make the photo pop with you in it. The background is boring enough, we don't need you to add to the boring factor. Think of your outfits, your poses, your make up, your hair. Really try to stand out, be bold and be beautiful.
This shoot will be due on Friday, May 16 @ 9PM EST
