Barratt...I must first apologize. I don't have any real city shots (including inside ones) that aren't candid because apparently Barratt is a british hick. I didn't see anything against it in the rules and I checked three times so I took one of his pictures and slapped a city behind it. If this is cause for elimination then I understand and I wish the other models good luck because they'll deserve to stay. I just wanted to submit something so it didn't look like I'd given up because I haven't. This is the only solution I could think of besides not submitting at all, which to me is completely unacceptable. Again, I apologize because I know this has to be dissapointing for you as it's very aggravating for me as well. Janice: Barrett, I know my men! Like the back of my hand I know every square inch of everyone of a mans body but I don't know a lickin' stink about computers. If you had not told me that this wasn't an actual photo shoot with a city background, I would have NEVER KNOWN! Bravo for honesty. Thank you for that. It's very refreshing, especially in our little modeling industry. Now, about your picture. You're right its not in the rules that you can't doctor up a photo to enhance it or modify it to suit your needs. So I don't know exactly what to expect on this shot. I have to wait for the bigger wigs to step in and make a ruling, which might reflect in my ranks. As of right now I'm just truly in awe of this shot. I don't dislike it, and I think it's pretty damn good even if it is a fake. Julia: Well, Barrett, I'm very mixed on this photo. Prior to reading your blurb, I didn't know, and might not have figured out that this had been Photoshopped. Like Janice mentioned, I appreciate your honesty, but on the other hand, even though there isn't really a rule about this, I would think it's implied not to alter a photo to fit a theme. That's not what these games are about. If one can do it, shouldn't everyone who may not have something that fits a challenge be able to do it? That all being said, this is a nice photo, but that large beam across your body is distracting. Otherwise, I suppose this is a fair effort. Heidi: Barratt, I too applaud your honesty! This is a VERY good photoshop! And you're right, there were no rules against it... but I have to take into account the models that submitted ACTUAL city scenes. That being said, you definately put forth the effort, and I'm glad you submitted something, rather than nothing at all! Hilary: Barratt, I also appreciate that you were honest. That does not negate the fact that photoshopping is NOT allowed in this, or any other, model game that I am aware of. I have since added it to the main rules, but if you are to survive this round, please ask in the future if you have any question. You should have gone with the indoor option which was offered to everyone. Because this photo was created by you and not from a photoshoot, I cannot give it a critique.

Miro...Julia: Miro, I think this is nice. I like the Black and White, and I think you look very handsome. I think you meet the theme, as well, because I can see aspects of the City in the background. I wish it was emphasized a bit more, but, overall, I like this. Janice: Oh I love the black and white of this shot Miro. I think it matches the factory looking background and drives this sort of industrial feel home. The only small complaint I have is that the other model is trying to steal your shot out from under you. Don't let that happen!!! Be the cocky arrogant S.O.B and make sure you dominant him! It's the eye contact. He's giving it to us you aren't, it makes him look more dominate and you more submissive. Which, therefore, takes the focus off of you. I want you to be the focus if there were 100 MEN in that photo. OK? Good!!! Other then that I like it. NEXT!! Heidi: Miro, this is an ok shot for me. When I think of cities, I think bright colors, flashy lights, that kind of thing.... not two very hot men standing infront of a bunch of um.... scaffolding...? in a black and white shot... for a city shot this is kind of boreing... sorry love. Hilary: Miro, I like this. I think you do steal the focus of this shot and I like the way you are posing in what looks to be a warehouse in a big city. The black and white really helps that fact. The clothes also point to city life rather than a rural area. Good job!

Ryan...
Shoot V - CITY LIGHTSI think this absolutely fits the theme. I mean it's obviously a city view. I also think the pose is great and the outfit along with the angle of the face helps bring out my amazing facial features. Janice: You went for city lights and it is very bright in the photo that is obvious. I like that you stand out in the shot here with your dark clothing. You look like a butler or a valet in an expensive big city hotel. It's good Ryan, not WOW good but still it's good boy! Julia: This isn't bad, Ryan. I think you look very nice. I wish I could have seen more of a City behind you, rather than just a building facade, but nevertheless, it's a decent job. Heidi: Ryan, this is kinda hot!You look like the buttler that I want to tip very generously... if you get my drift I agree with Julia though, I would have rather seen more of the city than just an entry way to a fancy store/hotel/restaurant... but this is good! Hilary: Ryan, this is really good! YAY, you're back!! I think you look very citified, young man. The hip clothing, the backdrop, all work together to make this a good shot. I think it is hard to make out the background, but I think it looks like buildings, so..... Good job!

Eugen...Photoshoot #5 - City Lights
Modelhommes is still down so I'm going to have to go with something I found on the other sites. I had alot of outdoor pictures but none of them said city. I had a few indoor shots that said city, but I wanted to try to fit the requirements to the best of my abilities. I had a couple of shots that looked like they could be in the city, but were small or out of focus. So finally I settled for this. I think my outfit says city boy and I'm on my way to university. I chose this picture because you can see lots of tall buildings in the background that are common place in cities. Julia: Eugen, I think you look very scholarly here, but I don't love that the City behind you looks to me to be atrificial, like a backdrop. I also think it looks a bit odd, because the City is black and white, while you're in color. Overall, you did meet the theme, I'm just not sure how much I'm liking this one. Janice: I actually like this shot. There are a couple of reasons Eugen. Now... nobody go and scream that Janice is a racist pig. No-no! That is not allowed! So I will continue! This shows that your have some sort of ethnicity in you. In other shots I haven't noticed it as much as in this shot, and that shows me that you are versatile to other markets. You gotta love that. International modeling agencies will want to scoop you up and eat you for desert which means lots of money for whoever your agent is. Sooooo this picture, it hits the theme remarkably well. I don't think I'm liking that sash thing around your neck. Is that a scarf? Anyway, it takes away from your masculine side ever so much, as well as your hair flipping sort of in your face. But over all I think you did very well here Eugen. Heidi:Oooh Eugen.... *swoons* this is a VERY good shot! I love how the photographer faded the city behind you....yet it's still there. It looks like you're a student at NYU walking through Central Park. I think this is a very good submission! Well done! Hilary: Oh my. Eugen, this is perfect! I LOVE New York City and Central Park, and one of my favorites spots to be is where you can see the skyscrapers rising out over the trees. Not to mention the fact that you look fabulous - and that red shirt...ooooo lala! I adore this. Fantastic job!

Travis...CITY LIGHTS Julia: Well, Travis, there is no doubt this fits the challenge, as you're in the middle of the City, New York City, that is, so well-done on fitting the theme, but there is one issue I have. For the past 2-3 shoots, we have been seeing the same pose from you, crouched down on all fours. I hope we can begin to see some versatility from you, because it's clear you have what it takes. Janice: I agree with Julia. We have seen this pose and look from you for the last few shoots. The crouching lion thing is getting tiresome. I know that it's been working but we need variety and versatility, you met the challenge but then again, this look is starting to become a little ho-hum. Heidi: LOL Janice, he's not a lion! He's a gorilla! He's supposed to be Tarzan! Travis, I'm afraid I have to agree with my ladies here. You are HOTNESS personified, but the crouch... not so much.... I love the city behind you, and yes, it fits the theme, but... PLEASE give us something more... Hilary: I love this Travis! I know we've seen you crouch before, but come on - who doesn't love Times Square! Plus, the whole animalistic pose is SO symbolic of how it's a jungle out there in the big city. Well done!

Andrew...Janice: WOW Andrew! I love this! I love that the city is in view behind you and you look like some demigod who is trying to take it all in through every sense except for sight. I really like this shot Andrew. I feel something when I look at it and I want to absorb whatever it is you are absorbing through your sense. Very good job. Julia: I like this as well, Andrew! I love the City skyline behind you, it's very eye-catching. I don't love how you look, as I find your pose and face (eyes closed) to be a bit awkward, but I still like this, nonetheless. Nice job. Heidi: Andrew, I love this! You did an AMAZING job fitting the theme! I love how the sky line is behind you! You look like you're posing from a fairy crossing the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty or something! (I'm not sure if that's New York at all, and I'm not sure if the Statue of Liberty is on the Hudson... but you get the idea right? LOL) This is great! Hilary: LOL Heidi - posing from a fairy? Ohhh do you mean ferry..... as in Staten Island Ferry? Could be. The point is this is very good, Andrew! I like it a lot. Good job!

Mat...Now every time you drive around the city you see someone riding on their motorcycle Janice: The quality is slightly off in this shot Mat but it's a very handsome shot. If you would have said you were in central park I would have been bouncing in my seat. And with my own imagination I could see that. I'm guessing this was difficult for you to find something with a city background or city lights? It's a great shot and yes motorcycles are in the city but they are also out on country roads. There is nothing here to show that you are in the city unless I go with my own thoughts that this was shot in Central Park. It's all unfortunate because I think you look very mmhhhmmmm good. Julia: I like this, but I do agree with Janice. It looks like you're on a county winding road, and not so much the big City. I think you look great, though. I like your pose and you facial expression is soft. I wish you might have told us a place in the big City that you were at, though. Heidi: I have to agree with everything the ladies said, Mat. This is a very good shot, and would have been perfect if we wanted a country theme, but alas, we wanted a city theme... and this isn't it, sweetie. I think this is great, but it doesn't quite fit for me. Hilary: Mat, this is a nice shot - I wouldn't say very good - but it's not showing any aspect of the city that I can think of. I have to say you blew it on this one. Sorry.

Mathias...PHOTO SHOOT ~CITY LIGHTSOn a relaxing walk in the city, taking in the sights. Janice: Again, this is a really nice shot. I love that you captured yourself outside, walking down the side walk. The only thing that draws my attention though is your hairline. Whoever thought parting your hair and showing the fact that your hair line increases the size of your forehead by an extra hands length, was wrong was wrong. It's not a good angle and your hairline looks like it's receding. It's distracting me from looking at all of you. Julia: This is nice, Mathais. I, too, like that you're walking down the street. It almost looks like Museum Mile in the Big Apple. I like the blurred out people behind you, as it give this photo a pop to it. Overall, nicely done. Heidi: Mathias... I have to be the one to say that I'm kind of bored by this. As I said to Miro... I was expecting more color... black and whites just don't seem to work for me in a "city lights" shoot. I like that the city is behind you, and I like that you seem to be taking in the sites... overall... this is just ok for me. Hilary: I don't love this, Mathias. As far as the photo, itself, I agree with Heidi - boring. I do, however, think you met the theme since you have a city behind you. It would have been nice for it to be clearer but I think it's definitely a city. Not bad.

Evandro... Janice: This is a very handsome shot of you Evandro. I think you look like a lethal predator the way you are looking and moving with those long strides across the street. The only thing I'm not overly fond is the way your jaw is sort of jutting out but hey baby... it's still hot picture. Julia: I think this is great, Evandro. I like how you captured a great balance between yourself, and the City. You look very nice and I think you're surroundings are fabulous and fitting. Great work! Heidi: Evandro... this is WONDERFUL! I love this. Perfect.... just.... wow.... I have nothing bad to say! Hilary: Evandro, I think this definitely fits the theme...but I don't really like the set of your jaw or your expression in this one. I find the backdrop works wonderfully, but you, yourself are not impressing me here....and I really hate that sweater. Not horrible but not up to your usual standards. Sorry.
