Andrew...Janice: EEK. I had to go back in and modify this because it was brought to the judges attention that this was not Andrew. It is in fact James Caviezel. While mistakes are made and sometimes confusion comes when you don't use a reliable source to find a picture, it is still up to you make sure that what you submit is truly you. Hilary: Ohhhh Andrew....are you sure this is you? I don't know - it doesn't really look like you to me. But let's say, for argument's sake, that is is. The quality is horrible and the expression is flat. I don't like anything about this, I'm afraid. EMMA: You look like you're in pain . The quality is also not that great either so...hmm I'm not sure what else to say, until one of the judges finds out that it's actually you I just don't know what else to say! Julia: Andrew, I have to agree with Hilary when I ask if this is indeed you. If it is, I am not too fond of the haze on this photo, but you do look nice. I think your eyes are captivating and I like your facial hair. Overall, decent effort. Heidi: Andrew... while I think you're an incredibly gorgeous man, I agree with my fellow juges completely... The quality leaves a lot to be desired, and you look rather bored. I'm sorry, love. I'm just not feeling too happy about this one.

Barratt... EMMA: This is okay. The quality isn't all that great, and it's small, but I do like the simplicity of it. As far as a headshot is concerned, even though your head is slightly titled, and you aren't looking at the camera, we still get the see the construction of your face rather well. But you need to watch the quality in the next round! Hilary: I don't see a problem with the quality but I do think it's a bit small and slightly on the boring side....however I agree that there is something about the simplicity of this that I like. I even like the black & white effect. Not bad, Barratt. Julia: This is a bit on the small side, but I do like it. I think you look handsome and I like the little bit of scruff you have on your face. I wish your eyes were directed at the camera, but other than that, this is nice. Janice: What I love about this is the angle of your face. I don't believe you have to be some sort of meat head looking man to look sexy and hot. It looks like you have a triangular shaped facial structure and you have shown it off well in this shot. Not over whelming but still, your bone structure is very nice. You look like an All-American kind of kid here, not too old, not too young. And that also is appealing. Not too bad. Heidi: Barratt, you're so cute! I love the angle of your photo, but I have to agree, your expression is a little boreing... and the size bothers me. I wish it were a bit bigger. Other than that, this is a good submission!

Eugen... EMMA: I'll be blunt with you. I do not like guys, or models with that beach long flowy hair. Maybe it's just me, but I hate it :-\...but I can't hold you account for that. I do think this is nice though. It's more editorial then what I've seen fron the other guys so far. I think the lighting might be a bit too dramatic for a headshot, however I love drama, so that's good for me! Hilary: Well, Emma, I thought I was the Queen of Blunt, but maybe not?? If you hate guys, you may have a tough time throughout this competition. Hmmmm well, let's get onto the beefcake, shall we? Eugen, I could not disagree with the lovely Miss Emma more. I LOVE guys and I LOVE this! You are extraordinarily gorgeous and I just cannot take my eyes off of you. The photo itself is perfect. The quality is perfect, your expression is perfect...and while I generally like the clean cut look better, myself, I cannot help thinking I would love to run my fingers through that flowing mane of yours, touch those full lips... *sigh* But I digress here. Let me just say - Excellent job! Julia: I'm the opposite of Emma, I happen to love guys with long hair, and I like how your hair looks in this shot. I think the shape of your face is flattering in this photo, and I like your facial expression. I wish we could see your other eye a bit better, but, overall, nice work. EMMA: I didn't mean to say I don't like male models, I meant ones with long hair. Guess my phrasing was off Janice: I don't mind your hair here, but I do have some objections. You shadowed your face too much and with a head shot you want your features to shine. I can't find a feature on this shot that I'm crazy about. You're not even showing off that hair as well as you could if you had a lighter background. You need to work that lighting honey if you want to stand out and shine! Heidi: Eugen, you are one sexy beast! This is making me have all kinds of happy feelings! LOL *breathe Heidi* anyway, this is HOT I love everything about it! I'm not bothered by the lighting at all! You're proving to be a contender early on! (at least to me! hehe)

Evandro... Hilary: Evandro, I like this. My only complaint is that your eyes are so mesmerizing, I think if you had chosen a shot where you were facing the camera, it would have pushed it up on my LOVE-Meter. I do like the lack of clothing - makes us focus on your face, and the quality and size are great. Good job! Julia: I think your features are showcased excellently here. I think they are very strong and well-displayed. I don't mind that your not looking directly at the camera here, because the angle you're facing works in your body positioning. Overall, this works well. EMMA: This is pretty good. My only complaint is that the white backdrop sort of over powers the picture and your skin somewhat blends into the background, mainly the cheek area, but other then that I like it. Your face is strong, but not overly animated, and your hair looks great! Janice: Another sort of profile shot. I don't know if I'm as ga-ga about this as I would like to be. I wish you would have cropped your shoulders out because they are distracting and unappealing, as if you have worked your upper back muscles WAY to much. Stop doing that! Pecs and Abs... that's all the really counts not huge massive should blades that are sticking out of her neck. *rolls eyes* Anyway, *looks back at the photo*. I do like your strong facial features and your eyes work nicely. Clean shaven also helps. If you're one of those men that wax then GREAT. I don't like to see hairy men and I love that you are smooth as a babies rear end. Good job. Heidi: Oooh man... Heidi's going to be needing a cold shower after looking at all of these studs! This is another of my favorite submissions this challenge! Your eyes are so intense, and the fact that your shoulders are bare, makes me wonder if everything else is too... *snaps out of la la land* Good submission Evandro!

Marcus... Hilary: Well, well, Marcus. This is quite captivating. Fierce, stunning, LOVE the head-on look, and I feel like you are staring into my soul. Very nicely done. Julia: I am a bit torn on this one. It fits the theme well, but I don't particularly like that the top of your head is cut off, and your facial expression is throwing me off a bit. Solid effort altogether, though. EMMA: The head being cropped off really makes your nose look ginormous. It's very over bearing for me and have a hard time looking at your other features :-\. Had the head not have been cut off I think this would be a lot more effective, and I don't think you cropped it so I'll try not to let that count against you! Janice: I agree, why cut your forehead out of the shot? Its so odd to not see a scalp!!! But your nose being HUGE? I wouldn't say that. I think it's a great shot actually, minus the missing scalp and the rest of your forehead of course. *rolls eyes and tosses the picture in with the rest of pictures that have been reviewed already* NEXT! Hilary: I seriously don't know what you ladies are complaining about. Many head shots are cropped close like this. I think it's unconventional and I still like it, Marcus. Heidi: Now WHY couldn't I find this picture when I was making your avatars?! I LOVE this! You look so intense, and just... wow... this surprises me! Great job, Marcus!

Mat...Julia: I thinks this works as a black and white photo, and the darker nature of it sets it apart from the rest a bit. It is not too dark, and I like that, and I think you are connecting with the camera well. I sense a bit of a blank expression in your face a bit, but overall I think this is a strong photo. Nice work! EMMA: I may be contradicting myself from a familiar critique, but I think the dramatic lighting works for this picture. While most headshots have less contrast on the face, I think it works here well. I don't really see a blank expression, I see a softer yet intense expression...like most of the pictures I submitted last cycle, which is a very good thing . I like the slight smirk too. Overall I'm really liking this picture and think you did a stellar job! Janice: I'm still not a huge fan of the missing eyeball. BUT this is a nice little artsy black and white photo that does have better lighting. I like your funky little hair do. Something about a man using hair product is appealing and will work with lots of different talent. You're not bad to look at. I still am not fond of the shadow on your face though. Over all it's alright *tosses this photo into the pile with the rest that have been reviewed* Hilary: Oh Mat, I really like this. I somewhat agree with Janice about the missing eyeball thing, but I think it probably looks just like the other one - and that one is piercing straight through me. (Yes, you men will have to put up with a lot of these types of comments throughout this competition. ) I love how clean cut you look here and I think the black & white is magic for you. Great job! Heidi: I agree, Mat, you look AMAZING in black and white! But I also agree with Janice... the missing eyeball doesn't work for you. I didn't mind it with Eugen, but i want to see ALL of your sexy face! Other than that, I like this!

Mathias...
Here, Mathias is serious, yet intriguing. Janice: I'm sorry Mathias but this is not a head shot that I find appealing. If I can be so blunt... your features are very hard and I don't find you very attractive to look at. Perhaps its the camera coming straight at you and you should have opted for more of a profile, ever so slight... shot. This isn't attractive to me in the least. Hilary: Hmmmm I have to disagree with you here, Janice. *slides a bit farther away from her...* Actually, Julia, do you mind just switching seats with me? Thanks, dear. Anyway, Mathias. I like this. It's different - it kind of has a 1950's look to it - with the combed back hair and the straight-laced look. I like your strong features and I think you did a nice job here. EMMA: I have to agree with Janice. Your face just looks bizarre, and not in a good way. I do not think the styling works for you either. I mean it's not horrible, but I expected more from you to be honest. Julia: I agree with Hilary that your look has a '50's feel to it. Your expression is intense and I like your slicked back hair. You look dashing and debonair. Heidi: PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, Mathias, but you strongly resemble the Creepy Thin Man from Charlie's Angels... That was my first reaction... after looking at it more closely, though, I think you do look very dashing! I not my favoirte this challenge, but still good!

Miro...Julia: Miro, you are a handsome man, there is not denying that. I think this may be a bit much for a headshot, though. I do think you look pretty good, though, so nice job on that. EMMA: This isn't really a headshot :-\. You can see most of your torso, and I don't think it really works for me. Other then that this just seems pretty average to me. Not bad, but it doesn't impress me. Janice: Did you not have a headshot? I'm confused on why I'm seeing so much of you and it isn't at all very appealing. That t-shirt does nothing to make me want to jump you and over look the fact that you are showing too much body to have this considered as a head shot. Sigh... NEXT! Hilary: Okay Modeling 101 - first lesson...CROP CROP CROP! Second lesson...FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!! I believe Heidi said nothing below the collarbone. Well, dear, your collarbone is definitely showing here. Or it would be if you were to lose the shirt...but that's another subject... Janice, did you just say this does nothing to make you want to "jump" him? Down girl! So, Miro. I am not really loving this one, either. It screams BLAH to me. Sorry, babe. Heidi: Oh Miro... Hilary said it completely... you really needed to read the directions, love. I did say nothing below the collarbone. Not that you aren't dead sexy, but... this isn't a headshot. Sorry, love.

Ryan...I chose this picture because I think it really gives a good read of my facial features. The angle in which the face is positioned really helps with this. Hope the fact it's Black n' White doesn't kick my ass.Julia: Ryan, you looks so angelic and innocent here. I do like the side view you're showing us and I think it does work, but I am not too keen on the scarf that is on the side of you. It is a bit distracting to me, but good work on showing us you. It is very clear what you're displaying to us. EMMA: I like this ! I think you look somewhat worried, but I actually like that. I think the scarf is somewhat distracting but without it your face would blend into the background which isn't a good thing. I think you did a very fine job this first round Janice: Smooth, Smooth, Smooth. Mhmmmm, I would LOVE to run my fingers all over your little babyface. Mhmmmm, I like this shot. I like it actually better then most. It's good size, the angle is nice, the lighting is good and I'm struck by your smooth complexion and those eyes. Mhmmm... Hilary: Another black & white that I like this round. Ryan, you are just adorable, aren't you? Janice - I think he's young enough to be your...well, your very young boy toy - er boyfriend. Leave the poor boy alone and just let him do his job. I do happen to agree with the beautiful - and much older - Janice here, though. I love your complexion in this shot. Your baby-face really photographs well. Nice job! Heidi: Ooh Ryan! This wasn't my favorite out of your roughs, but it was a close second! I like this! I agree that you look soft, and innocent. I love the angle that your facing, and your distant gaze! OMG I sound like a poem! lol anyway, great job!

Sean...Janice: I can appreciate you working the angles of this shot. I find it intriguing actually. I wouldn't say you are overly attractive but still the shot is contemporary sort of... and eye catching. I actually like this in an odd way. Hilary: Sean, this is stunning! I, again, love the black & white and I love the angles, as Janice said. I also love the close crop and I find your eyes very sensual - the expression is really mesmerizing. Very good job! EMMA: I really like this. I really like the contrast between your skin tone and hair in black and white and I think your expression and eye connection are very wonderful! Very good job! Julia: Sean, this is nice, but there is something about your eyes in this shot that seems a little odd to me. Nevertheless, I, too like your angles in this photo and your look is appealing. Nice job. Heidi: I love that you took an artistic view to this! It's very handsome and very intriguing! Nice job Sean!

Travis... Hilary: Hmmmm Travis, I was a bit surprised when I saw this one from you. After seeing your avatar and then looking at this, it's such a disappointment. It almost looks like a polaroid shot. Nothing spectacular about it to me. I think you should have gone bigger, but since you didn't, you should have at least cropped this closer with all that white space around you. I also think that your shirt full of holes is very distracting. I hope we will have a chance to see more from you, though, because I was truly expecting great things. Julia: I think you look very handsome here, Travis, but I have to agree with Hilary. This looks like a polaroid and it is a bit too generic for me. I hope we might be able to see more of you in the future showing us what I'm sure you can bring. EMMA: Polaroid? More like a mug shot! If there was a height chart in the background this is exactly what it would be. Sorry not impressed, and you obviously have better choices to choose from. I think you were rushing when submitting this, and next time take some more time, not just the first thing you see. Janice: Ohhhh Emma... Hahahaha, *smacks her in the arm, and leans in for some more laughing* Hahahahaha, " a mugshot". Oh geez, my side hurts from laughing. Ha... Ok *cough, clears throat*... Ha, Ok, seriously Emma is right. Heidi: Travis, you are so smokin hot! That's the main reason I'm so disappointed with this submission. I completely agree that it looks like a mug shot! Though... I do want to finish ripping that t-shirt off of you! hehe I'm afriad no modeling agency would sign you with a headshot like that!

Tyson... Hilary: Okay, Tyson Beckford. You said this is the only thing you could find?? Really? I find that hard to believe. I don't love the size or quality on this one. Sure, you look adorable in it, but compared to what some of these other gentlemen have submitted, this is not quite cutting it for me. Still think you're sexy, though. Julia: Tyson, I am not really all that fond of this photo. From the small size to your somewhat off facial expression, overall this is a bit of a miss to me. I actually took a look through some of your portfolio and found a few photos that might have turned out better for this shoot. I'm sorry, but this is not A game material to me. EMMA: You are one of the most well known male models in history and you're telling me you couldn't find a better shot? I did a google image search and on the first 5 pages I found many better options. I just don't understand why you sibmitted this :-\. You look deranged and are biting your bottom lip which does not translate well into a headshot. And as the previous judges said the size and quality just aren't up to par. Janice: Now I'm not going to apologize for my bluntness, or what you might say is RUDE behavior on my part. I AM Janice Dickinson. Get to know me and know me well. First stop sucking on your bottom lip? Who does that? Do you think it's honestly a good look? Second... well the picture being small would be nothing if it were just a great picture. It just isn't. I think I'm going to have a hard time figuring out who got first out of the bunch of you "male models" (and i say models LIGHTLY), and who will go LAST! Janice OUT! *throws picture in the pile and leaves to go back to her office for a while* Heidi: I'm having a hard time believing that this is all Tyson Beckford had for a head shot... considering I found SEVERAL that I wanted to use for your avatar. That being said, this is a shoddy submission. I'm really disappointed. Sorry, Tyson
